Description
This is a free-standing cabana with one private room (Room 4). This cabana is made from palmetto palm (Acoelorrhaphe wrightii) on the outside, with white walls and ceiling on the inside. The palmetto palm helps to keep the cabana cool in the dry season. A lot of it is grown naturally on the property. The roof of this cabana is made from hard stick (malady [local name]) and bay leaf palm (Sabal muritiformis). It is named for the national bird of Belize.
